Visual Brand Audit- Terms & Conditions

Visual Brand Audit

Effective Date: May 2026  |  Version 1.2

Governing Jurisdiction: Maharashtra, India

By Booking a Visual Brand Audit session with Advait Sontakke / ASVS (Advait Sontakke Visual Solutions) or making part or full payment for the service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms in their entirety.

1. What the Service Is

The Visual Brand Audit is a structured 90-minute consulting session in which Advait Sontakke reviews your brand’s existing visual communication — including but not limited to your website, product photography, marketplace listings, social media content, and packaging — and provides a written diagnostic and priority action plan.

The session includes:

  • A review of your existing visual content across specified platforms
  • Identification of the 3 most critical gaps affecting your brand’s visual perception
  • Competitor visual mapping within your product category and price tier
  • A written audit summary delivered within 24 hours of the session
  • A prioritised, sequenced action plan with specific, implementable recommendations

The session does not include:

  • Photography, videography, or any production work
  • Redesign, execution, or implementation of any recommendations
  • Ongoing consulting or follow-up sessions beyond the agreed scope
  • Legal, financial, or marketing strategy advice

2. Booking & Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment or an agreed advance payment. An email confirmation will be sent within 24 hours of payment. If you do not receive a confirmation, contact hello@7milescommunication.com before assuming the session is confirmed.

3. Payment Terms

Session Fee

The Visual Brand Audit is priced between ₹15,000 and ₹25,000 (Indian Rupees) depending on scope agreed at the time of booking. The applicable fee will be confirmed before payment is requested.

Payment Method

Payment is accepted via bank transfer, UPI, or such other methods as communicated at the time of booking. Full payment (or agreed advance) must be completed before the session is scheduled.

GST

GST will be applied as per applicable Indian tax regulations. A GST invoice will be issued upon request.

4. Pre-Session Requirements

To enable a meaningful audit, you are required to share the following at least 48 hours before the session:

  • Your brand website URL
  • Links to active marketplace listings (Amazon, Nykaa, Flipkart, or equivalent)
  • Links to primary social media profiles
  • Names of your top 3 direct competitors
  • Any specific areas of concern you wish to prioritise

Failure to provide this information in advance may result in a reduced scope. No refund or rescheduling entitlement arises from the client’s failure to share materials on time.

5. Session Delivery

The session is conducted via video call on a platform mutually agreed upon. A session link will be sent at least 24 hours before the scheduled time. The session will be conducted by Advait Sontakke personally and will not be recorded by either party without express written consent.

6. Written Audit Summary

A written audit summary will be delivered within 24 hours of session completion to the email address provided at booking. The document is for your internal use only and may not be shared publicly, published, or presented as third-party validation without prior written approval.

7. Cancellation Policy

7.1 Cancellation by the Client

  • More than 72 hours before the session: Full refund, less any payment processing charges.
  • Between 24 and 72 hours before the session: 50% of the session fee retained as a cancellation charge.
  • Less than 24 hours before the session: No refund. Full fee forfeited.
  • No-show without prior notice: No refund. Full fee forfeited.

7.2 Cancellation by Advait Sontakke

If we must cancel, you will be notified promptly and offered a full refund or a rescheduled session at your preference.

8. Rescheduling Policy

One rescheduling request is permitted at no charge, provided it is made at least 48 hours before the session and subject to availability. A second rescheduling request incurs an administrative fee of ₹2,500. Requests made less than 48 hours before the session are treated as cancellations under Clause 7.1.

9. Refund Eligibility — Conditions and Limitations

9.1 What This Guarantee Covers

The refund provision under this clause applies only where Advait Sontakke is demonstrably unable to perform the core obligations of the service — specifically, the inability to identify and communicate at least three substantive, specific, and actionable visual observations relevant to the client’s brand. This is an assessment of professional delivery, not of the client’s agreement with or satisfaction with the findings.

This guarantee does not exist to accommodate dissatisfaction with the nature of the findings, disagreement with the recommendations, or the financial or operational difficulty of implementing them. The value of this service is in the diagnosis. What the client chooses to do with that diagnosis is entirely outside the scope of this guarantee.

9.2 Refund Is Not Available In the Following Circumstances

A. The Brand Has No Existing Visual Presence

If the brand is newly established and has no existing visual assets to review — including but not limited to: no website, no active marketplace listings, no product photography, no social media content, and no existing packaging — the Visual Brand Audit cannot function as a diagnostic tool. In such cases, the session operates as a forward-looking brand consultation, not an audit of existing work. The refund provision under Clause 9 does not apply to such engagements.

If you are a new brand with no existing visual presence, please disclose this before booking. The service scope and expectations will be set accordingly, and no refund provision will apply.

B. Client Disagreement with Findings

A refund is not available on the basis that the client disagrees with, disputes, or does not find value in the audit findings. Professional advisory services involve subjective judgment. Disagreement with a recommendation is not evidence of inability to perform.

C. Financial or Operational Inability to Implement

A refund is not available where the client acknowledges the validity of the findings but is unable to act on them due to budget constraints, resource limitations, operational priorities, or any circumstance external to the quality of the audit itself. The inability referred to in this clause is the inability of Advait Sontakke to perform, not the client’s inability to implement.

D. Pre-Session Materials Not Provided

If the client failed to provide the required pre-session materials as specified in Clause 4, the scope of the audit will have been limited accordingly. No refund claim is valid where the limitation in findings is attributable to insufficient materials provided by the client.

E. Partial Attendance

If the client was absent for any portion of the session, arrived late, left early, or was distracted to the extent that the session could not be conducted effectively, no refund is available.

F. Delayed Refund Request

A refund request submitted more than 48 hours after the completion of the session will not be considered under any circumstances.

9.3 When a Refund May Be Considered

A refund may be considered only where all of the following conditions are met simultaneously:

  • The client attended and completed the full 90-minute session.
  • The required pre-session materials were submitted in full and on time.
  • The client made a documented, good-faith effort to apply at least one recommendation from the written audit summary. This effort must be demonstrated through tangible evidence — for example, revised photography, updated listings, changed visual content, or any other verifiable attempt to implement the audit’s findings.
  • The client can specifically articulate, in writing, why the recommendations were not actionable for their business — not merely that they disagree, but that a concrete and identifiable obstacle existed that made implementation genuinely impossible.
  • The refund request is submitted in writing to hello@7milescommunication.com within 48 hours of the session, with supporting evidence of attempted implementation.

Meeting these conditions does not automatically entitle the client to a refund. The claim will be reviewed within 5 business days. Advait Sontakke reserves the right to assess the credibility and completeness of the evidence provided and to make a final determination on refund eligibility. If approved, the refund will be processed within 7 working days.

9.4 Scope of Any Approved Refund

Where a refund is approved, it is limited to the session fee paid. It does not extend to GST components (which are non-refundable under applicable tax law), payment processing charges, travel or incidental costs, or any other amounts.

10. Intellectual Property

The written audit summary, recommendations, frameworks, and materials produced during or after the session are the intellectual property of Advait Sontakke / ASCS. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for internal business use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, or use the audit summary in any public-facing material without prior written permission.

11. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to treat all information shared during the session as confidential. Advait Sontakke will not disclose your brand’s materials to any third party without written consent. We may reference the fact of the engagement in a client list or portfolio without disclosing session content, unless you specifically request otherwise in writing before the session.

12. No Guarantee of Outcomes

The Visual Brand Audit is a diagnostic and advisory service. No representation or guarantee is made that implementing the recommendations will result in any specific business outcome, including increased sales, improved conversion rates, or higher brand awareness. Results of implementation are entirely within the client’s control.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Advait Sontakke’s total liability shall not exceed the session fee paid. We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, or special loss arising from the session or the written summary.

14. Amendments

These Terms may be amended at any time. The version in effect at the time of your payment confirmation governs your booking. Continued use of our services following any amendment constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable for any reason, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the Visual Brand Audit service and supersede all prior discussions, representations, or agreements, whether oral or written. No variation of these Terms shall be effective unless agreed in writing by both parties.

17. Governing Law

17.1  This Agreement shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of Maharashtra, without reference to rules governing choice of laws. The Agreement shall be legally valid and enforceable under Section 4, Section 10A, Section 3, and Section 5 of the Information Technology Act, 2000, granting recognition to electronic contracts and digital signatures.

17.2  Any dispute arising from this Agreement shall be resolved through binding arbitration. Binding arbitration shall be conducted in accordance with the rules of The Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
